New Year, New Mission Statement

New Year, New Mission Statement

January 4, 2018

On behalf of Lyf Wildenberg, Day James and Nate Austin, the three founders and owners of Mytech Partners, Inc., we are excited to launch into 2018 with a NEW Mission Statement: To Grow, Help, and Make a Difference.

Over the past couple years, we have seen and felt that our old Mission Statement was not coming to life in our organization the way it should.  We believe that in order for Mytech to achieve our potential, goals and our desired impact on our world, we needed to revise our purpose to accurately reflect the specific passions for which Mytech exists, and to combine our individual contributions to the Mission as a unified message.

The journey of revising our old Mission Statement started well over a year ago, and on several occasions held multiple meetings and ‘town hall’ sessions with Mytechians to elicit feedback.  Defining a Mission Statement is difficult, and I am reminded of the quotation by Leonardo da Vinci: ‘Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.’  We felt that we had achieved simplicity and impact with our Vision Statement ‘To provide the best IT experience in North America’ as we hear this statement used on a regular basis throughout our communication internally and externally – but the Mission Statement lacked the understanding and life it deserves at Mytech.

“Knowing your WHY gives you a filter to make choices, at work and at home, that will help you find greater fulfillment in all that you do.”

— Simon Sinek

We believe that we owe it to our team, and anyone with whom we interact - client partners, prospects, community partners, and vendor partners – to have a clear ‘WHY’ defined that helps connect what we do, to why we exist. In fact, we hope that having a clear purpose defined, that we will attract those who are that much more invested in working together because our Mission is aligned and resonates on a personal level.

We hope that Mytech’s new Mission Statement strikes a chord, and resonates with you personally.  Working together we can all achieve greater fulfillment in work, and life, in 2018 and beyond, as we live with purpose: To Grow, Help, and Make a Difference.
