Microsoft is changing the way it processes nonprofit grants for its Azure cloud computing services. If your organization is a current member of this program, the grant you receive from Microsoft will be reduced by roughly half for all future renewals.
Starting on October 1, 2023, not-for-profit organizations that currently receive Azure grants from Microsoft will see their grant reduced from $3,500 annually to $2,000 annually. This change will take effect on both all new grants and all grant renewals after October 1.

What do I do now?
Before your next renewal, your organization will need to decide how to make up the difference from this reduced grant. Mytech's not-for-profit clients can expect this to be part of their quarterly Make IT Easy review meetings, as part of our commitment to reduce technology surprises and help them achieve 4x more value and productivity from their IT investments.
