I recently read Sheryl Sandberg’s book ‘Option B’ that talks about the coping mechanisms of dealing with the death of a loved one. It had a lot of personal thoughts and feelings associated with losing her husband but the thing that I loved the most about the book was the fact that each day brings something new. Some days were good for her that she could cope with things but some days brought a feeling of helplessness in everything she thought and did.
It gave me a different perspective on the concept of ‘each day’ and why it matters! Why do we wake up each morning and why do we do all that we love each day? It’s only to learn something new each day, grow and help make a difference. The new mission of Mytech helps encompass the focus on our customer, on our personal & professional growth. Looking forward to solving problems, fostering engagement and nurturing new thoughts and ideas not only benefits us but also all around us too.
Our recent volunteer event with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) to pack meals for the under privileged broadened our horizon. In our everyday mundane life, we fail to see such service activities done. Some days we make a difference in other people’s lives and some days, other people take on that role for us! In the end, we all grow and help each other!
