Passwords are hard. They’re hard to remember, hard to create, hard to use. We’ve talked before about how a password manager can help your productivity and security, but what about the passwords themselves? What makes a password secure or insecure? Why is it so important to include a number and a special character? And why can’t you use the same password for everything?  

In  this educational session, as we take a broader look at password use: why it’s so important, what the “safest” kinds of passwords are, and why “Password1!” is such a widespread problem. We’ll also explain the extra steps you can take to secure your password use, such as Multi-Factor Authentication and Password Managers.
